Cannes

As some of you know, my grandparents have a house in Cannes. So last week, my family(apart from Max, who had to stay at home because of uni) went to visit my grandparents. The weather was pretty bad, it rained quite a lot, but we still had a few nice hours.

We normally don't go to Cannes about this time of the year, as school holidays are about a week later. This year they shifted a week, so we just arrived 2 days before the famous Cannes Film Festival started. As you can imagine, quite a few people in town, everything is full of film posters and anything related to film. I didn't see any stars, but I'm not very fussed with them anyway.
But you're supposed to see a few of them during the Festival.

Now something not very happy, I got news from film school, they didn't invite me to the interview stage, I'm quite disappointed really! I dunno what I'll try next, but I'll sure find something that makes me happy, in the film biz or elsewhere. Thanks to everybody who supported me so far!

Oldie Tournament

Today was the annual so called "Oldie Volleyball Turnier", basically an old boys Volleyball tournament. Usually every year has a team plus a couple of teacher teams. Always good fun! Unfortunately, my year was a bit underrepresented, only 5 (of which 2 left my school before finishing), but we still did quite well, becoming 5th out of approx. 20.
