Last Weekend, our friends from England (actually Finnland/Uganda/Germany living in England) had a celebration in Finnland, so we visited them for a weekend, and not only them, but also Finnland itself. Cecilia (the youngest of the three sisters) had her confirmation, and the whole extended family came to celebrate. There was finnish culture, food and lot's of funny sounding words. But see yourself:
To start off, a picture of picturesque finnland.
Max and Theresa.
There's a Muumin in Resis Bag (The Muumins are a really popular Cartoonseries from Finnland)
A few impressions from Helsinki and Turku.

That is the famous olympic Skijumpramp in Lahti (about 120 k's from Helsinki, a tiny little hamlet, but once co-hosted the olympic games…)

The lake in front of our Hotel, the hotel of course had several saunas, but due to the 30 degrees outside, we enjoyed the lake without the sauna…
And more picturesque Finnland at the end of this post!
A couple of weeks ago, my filmteam and me went to Berlin, to collect our prize for the first place in a movie competition for the german energyindustry. A fairly impressive congress, a couple of thousand people, live TV and Internet broadcasting, and FREE FOOD…A didn't take a lot of pictures, but one of my friends did, so here they are. The ones that look analog, are mine, and they actually are analog…
My team: Christine, Ben, Steffi ands Julia
We became finished first, together with a team from Hamburg.
Some parts of the congress were really boring, so I designed an awesome typeface, but unfortunatly I left it there…
The morning after the party…
I don't like Berlin very much, I was taking these for my girlfriend, but they didn't quite turn out as I imagined…

Munich is a lot better than Berlin, as you can see on these pics from our celebration for end of this semester in a Munich Beergarden.
